This client had just remodeled their kitchen and wanted a statement piece for their stereo system, which ties into new ceiling-mounted speakers. The stand had to fit a subwoofer, a receiver, and a record player, with room left over to store some albums.
We built it from red oak and finished it with a custom mixed stain to match their hardwood flooring. The cubby is painted black, so the subwoofer and records sit in a clean, dark space. Brass rod legs and feet tie the piece back to the hardware in the new kitchen.
Start to finish, it was a two-week turnaround.

This piece began as a 3D concept — Stereo Stand — refined with the client until every detail was right, and only then built.
