This project called for custom upper cabinetry to fill a dedicated niche in the client's living room — cabinet boxes flanking a central open display bay, all built to integrate cleanly with the home's existing trim and wall conditions.
The boxes were built from ¾″ birch plywood for a solid, stable carcass. Face frames, doors, and the drawer were all built from solid maple — chosen for its tight grain and ability to take paint cleanly. Everything was finished painted white on-site to match the surrounding trim.
In addition to the cabinet fabrication and installation, we handled the drywall patching and paint prep needed to tie the new work into the existing wall. The crown molding above the cabinets, as well as the TV mount and soundbar installation, were handled separately by the client.
The result fits the space like it was always there.
